Spanish international striker Paco Alcacer has sealed his loan transfer to German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund from Barcelona.
The 24-year-old joins Dortmund from the Spanish La Liga giants on a season-long loan with an option to buy him for 25m euros (£22.7m) at the end of the season.
Paco Alcacer secured a transfer to Barcelona from Valencia in 2016 for 30m euros (£27.3m) but struggled to cement a spot in the first XI.
His loan transfer was confirmed by the club via Twitter on Wednesday evening.
On his move, Alcacer told the club’s website that: “I’m really looking forward to playing for Dortmund and their incredible fans.”
The club’s sporting director added: “At Barcelona, he worked daily with some of the best players in the world.”
“It is due to the extreme competition among the club’s forwards that he has now decided to take a fresh start after two years.” He concluded.
