The German international has been linked with moves back to his native country as well as Italian champions Juventus. He has one year left on his present contract.
Can, who was part of the victorious Germany team at the FIFA Confederations Cup earlier this month, has been a useful player for Liverpool since joining. He scored 5 goals and made 2 assists in 32 appearances for the Reds last season helping them seal a return to the UEFA Champions League (UCL) this season.
