Real Madrid Sign Goalkeeper Lunin Ahead Of New Season

European champions Real Madrid have completed the signing of teenage goalkeeper Andriy Lunin from Ukrainian Premier League side Zorya Luhansk.

Lunin, 19, joins Real Madrid after putting pen to paper on a six-year deal for a reported transfer fee of €14m

The Champions League winners secured his signature ahead of other European heavyweights like Inter Milan, Liverpool and Juventus.

Andriy Lunin is regarded as one of the best young goalkeepers in Europe.

He began his professional career at Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk and went on to makmake his debut as a 17-year-old.

He didn’t waste much time in cementing himself as the club’s first choice.

His performances at Dnipro earned him a move to Zorya Luhansk last summer, where he also became a key player.

Lunin featured for the club in the UEFA Europa League (UEL) group stage in addition to helping to fourth place at the end of last season.

He made 29 league appearances for the team.

Andriy Lunin is also an history maker Ghee he became the youngest goalkeeper to make a debut for Ukraine in a 1-1 draw with Saudi Arabia in March.
