‘Truly A Key Moment’ — Osimhen Claims Move To Sporting Charleroi Changed His Career

Victor Osimhen says moving to Belgian club Sporting Charleroi was the turning point of his career.

Osimhen hugged the headlines after helping Nigeria win the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile in 2015.

The striker scored 10 goals at the competition and went home with the Golden Boot award.

The 25-year-old failed to make the desired impact at Bundesliga club, VFL Wolfsburg, who signed him after the competition.

After a successful loan spell at Charleroi, he moved to Ligue 1 club Lille.
