West Brom Quartet To Face No Further Action After ‘Taxi Theft’ Stunt

The West Brom quartet of Jonny Evans, Gareth Barry, Jake Livermore and Boaz Myhill will face no further action after they were reportedly involved in a taxi theft in Barcelona last week.

A Spanish court has decided that no case would be opened against the aforementioned players.

The players were involved in the Barcelona incident while the Midlands club was away on a warm-weather training camp and team-bonding exercise.

They were then interviewed by the Spanish authorities but it appears they won’t be prosecuted due to insufficient evidence though the case could reopened in the event that new evidence emerges.
