Nigeria’s national U20 team, Flying Eagles, are still in pole position to qualify for the next round despite losing a two-goal lead against Guinea Bissau in their African Cup of Nations (AFCON) 1st round 1st leg qualifier in Bissau on Saturday evening.

Wasiu Alalade gave Paul Aigbogun’s team the lead after 15 minutes before he added a second goal with ten first half minutes remaining to give his team a 2-0 halftime result.

The hosts however battled back after the interval as they scored twice to earn a 2-2 draw with Nigeria ahead of the 2nd leg billed for the Udoukaha Jacob Esuene Stadium, Calabar on Saturday, 19th May 2018.
