Guingamp have moved into the top six after they defeated their hosts Strasbourg 2-0 in a week 20 French Ligue 1 clash.
The away side took a 2-0 lead as early as the 16th minute courtesy goals from French midfielder Yannis Salibur-Ilongo and Nicolas Benezet before holding out for a good win despite concerted pressure from the home side.
The win takes Guingamp (29 points) move two places upward on the league table and into the top six while Strasbourg (24 points) remain in 11th spot.
