Malaga have plunged into further relegation woes after they suffered a 1-0 loss to Getafe in a week 19 Spanish La Liga clash on Friday night.

The only goal of the game came in the 73rd minute through a Juan Cala header to further compound the woes of hapless Malaga.

The victory takes Getafe (24 points) into the top 10 and three places upward from 11th to 8th position while Malaga stay rooted to second bottom with just 11 points.
