Premier League Review (Saturday): United Edge Tottenham As City, Chelsea And Arsenal Win To Maintain Top Five Places

Manchester United kept the pressure on league leaders and city rivals Manchester City with a slim 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur in their Matchday 10 clash at Old Trafford.

Substitute Anthony Martial was the matchwinner for José Mourinho’s men after he netted with nine minutes left of the absorbing encounter with a fellow title rival.

Manchester City maintained their five points lead over United with a 3-2 win at West Bromwich with Leroy Sane, Fernandinho and substitute Raheem Sterling while new summer signing Jay Rodriguez and Matt Philips got the goals for the home side.

Chelsea remain in 4th spot behind leaders City, United and Tottenham following their 1-0 win at Bournemouth courtesy an Eden Hazard strike while London rivals Arsenal are in 5th position with inferior goal difference after they came back from a goal down to secure victory for the third time in six days.

Liverpool have moved into the top 6 after a 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town at home through goals from Daniel Sturridge, Firmino and Georginio Wijnaldum.
