Al-Gharafa Move Saves Sneidjer From Nice Nightmare

Dutch star Wesley Sneidjer has joined Qatari outfit Al-Gharafa on an 18-month deal after ending his nightmarish spell at French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice.

The 33-year old midfielder joined Nice last summer after he was released by Turkish giants Galatasaray and has found playing time hard to come by.

He made just four starts and a total of five appearances for the UEFA Europa League (UEL) campaigners.

Sneidjer, who is the most capped player in the history of the Netherlands national team (133 caps), will definitely boost his new club with his wealth of experience.

The former Inter Milan playmaker will wear the no. 10 jersey at Al-Gharafa, a team presently languishing in midtable on the Qatari League log.
