Kano Pillars star Jamilu Mohammed will leave the shores of the country for Germany in the coming days for trials with Bundesliga 2 side SV Hamburg.
The defensive midfielder has been a top performer for the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) outfit this season and has been rewarded with a trial in Germany for two weeks.
His impending trial was confirmed by Labib Rabiu Yerima of German-based players’ agency, FTC (Football Transfer Agency).
In his words via footballlive, Yerima said: “A good performance could land him a deal with the European Club.”
Hamburg are campaigning in Germany’s second division for the first time in their history after the club suffered relegation from the German Bundesliga last season for the first time.
