Manchester United Strengthen Grip On 2nd Spot With Bournemouth Win

Manchester United have strengthened their grip on second place on the Premier League table following their 2-0 win at Bournemouth in a rescheduled game at the Vitality Stadium on Wednesday night.

Chris Smalling and substitute Romelu Lukaku got the goals for Jose Mourinho’s men as they bounced back from the shocking 1-0 defeat to basement club West Brom at the weekend.

The win takes Manchester United (74 points) four points clear of third-placed Liverpool (70 points) while Bournemouth stay outside the top 10 (11th) with 38 points.
