Stade Rennes have moved into the top five on the French Ligue 1 table after they defeated their hosts Bordeaux 2-0 in their Matchday 30 clash played on Saturday.

Ismaila Sarr and Yoann Gourcuff were on target in the second half for Rennes as they secured the maximum points at stake.

The win takes Stade Rennes (45 points) above Nantes (43 points) into 5th spot in the race for an European spot at the end of the season.
