IHF Challenge Trophy: Handball Federation of Nigeria Announce Final Cadet and U20 Squads

Ahead of the International handball Federation (IHF) Challenge Trophy tourney, the Handball Federation of Nigeria has announced the final U18 and U20 female squads to represent Nigeria after 14 days of intensive training.

Twenty Eight players were able to make the final squads after close to forty five (45) players had earlier reported to camp at Abuja.

The tourney which is sanctioned by the International Handball Federation will take place in Niamey, Niger from the 25th of February to March 3rd, 2019.

Both teams are expected to leave the country for Niamey on Thursday according to the Technical Director of Nigeria’s Handball Federation, Mr. Ferdinand Emeanaa.

Under -18 team list: Sidiq muhinat, Yusuf toyin, Lydia Daniel, Musbau kadijat, Umekwe chioma, Abdulahi Favour, Nuhu wuraola, Atansi Tina, Abdurasaq idowu, Imiruaye justina, Sunday hope, Gbamire Grace, Ayimba Maria, Yusuf Muhinat.

Under-20 Team List: Palang Alaska and Blessing Danjuma{goal keepers},Onyinyechi iloh, Elizabeth Akwobi, Ininitimi sylvanus, Oluwatosin Ebgebiyi, Mercy Audu, Blessing Ayodele, Victoria Moses, Josephine Ezeugwu, Sandra Edokpolor, Johnbull Eripiade, Sandra Godwin, Onyedikachi Mburum.

Abdulkadir Yusuf and Uzor Obi will lead the U18 and U20 national teams respectively.
