Brazilian star Neymar scored his 20th goal in all competitions for Paris Saint Germain (PSG) to aid the capital club to a straightforward 2-0 win over their 10-man hosts Stade Amiens.

PSG’s task was made much easier after Amiens goalkeeper Regis Gurtner was sent off for a foul on Neymar just before the end of the first half and the visitors inevitably capitalised on that numerical advantage with two second half goals from Neymar (penalty) and Adrien Rabiot.

The moneybags’ 6th straight win in all competitions means that they will face Stade Rennes in the last four as the quest for a 5th successive French League Cup title continues.

Rennes saw off Toulouse 4-2 to book their difficult clash with PSG while Montpellier will face Monaco in the other semifinal after they defeated their hosts Angers 1-0.
