
Vasco da Gama forward Paulinho scored the winning goal on the stroke of halftime to give Brazil a 2-1 comeback win over Spain in Group D in what was their first game at the ongoing 2017 FIFA World Cup in India.
Hosts India had earlier been beaten 3-0 by the United States of America (USA) in Group A . Josh Sargent, Chris Durkin and Andrew Carliton got the goals for the Americans.
