Super Eagles winger, Nathan Tella was in action as Bayer Leverkusen edged FC Heidenheim 2-1 in Saturday’s Bundesliga game.

The Nigerian international who has made 12 appearance, has netted four goals and bagged one assist this ongoing season.

Tella came on as a substitute for Jeremie Frimpong in the 88th minute.

However, Bayer Leverkusen took the lead in the 45th minute through Frimpong to silence the home supporters.

Amine Adli extended the visitor’s lead in the 81st minute with a brilliant finish to the delight of the technical crew.

But then, Kleindienst netted in the 87th minute tio give FC Heidenheim a glimpse of hope. But all effort to level parity proved abortive as Leverkusen picked the maximum points.
