Super Eagles defender, Kevin Akpoguma was missing in action as Hoffenheim lost 1-0 to Union Berlin in Saturday’s Bundesliga game.
The Nigerian international, who has made 12 appearances, has bagged six yellow cards this ongoing season.
A game that was marked with two red cards from both side, saw Stanley Nsoki of Hoffenheim and Kevin Volland was of Union Berlin given the marching order by the centre referee.

However, Brenden Aaronson scored the match winner in the 84th minute to give Union Berlin the breakthrough.
Despite Hoffenheim control of possession, the host failed to break down the solid defence of the visitors.
The defeat means Hoffenheim sit 9th on 27 points while Union Berlin sit 12th on 24 points.
