AFCON 2023: Super Eagles Fly Out To Abidjan In Style

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have departed for Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The players and their officials left the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos on Wednesday morning.

The contingent, who were dressed in African attires were in buoyant mood as they made the trip to Abidjan.

The Super Eagles spent Tuesday night in Lagos following their arrival from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

They spent one week in Abu Dhabi and engaged in two friendlies against local club Al Gharib and Guinea.

The Super Eagles were hosted to a send forth dinner by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday night.

Nigeria’s first game is against Nzalang Nacional of Equatorial Guinea at the Alassanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe on Sunday.
