Another Real Madrid Star Accused Of Tax Fraud!

Brazilian international defender Marcelo is the latest Real Madrid player to be accused of tax fraud by Spanish authorities.

According to Madrid’s public prosecutor, Marcelo used foreign firms to handle the earning of his image rights. The alleged tax fraud case is said to be to the tune of €490,000 (£436,000; $576,000).

The 29-year old left-back is however yet to comment on the tax fraud allegations from the Spanish authorities.

He joins the list of footballers to be pursued by the Spanish tax authorities. Others include club teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, former Madrid teammate Angel Di Maria,  Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi and many more.
