Italian champions Juventus have moved closer to the Coppa Italia final after they secured a hard-earned 1-0 win over their hosts Atalanta in their semi-final clash in Bergamo on Tuesday night.

Argentina international striker Gonzalo Higuain scored the only goal of the game as early as the third minute but the Old Lady had returning goalkeeper Gianlugi Buffon to thank for preserving that slender lead especially with a penalty save.

Juventus will meet the winner of the semi-final clash between AC Milan and Lazio if they can secure a place in the final of the competition.
