Tottenham Showed REAL Maturity – Kane

Star striker Harry Kane was very delighted after he helped his team to an impressive 1-1 draw with champions Real Madrid in their UEFA Champions League (UCL) clash at the Santiago Bernebeu on Tuesday night.

While speaking after the game, Kane was quick to point out that Spurs showed real maturity to get a point in the Group D clash. In his words,  he said:

“A point at the Bernabeu, you would take that every day of the week. It shows how far we have come as a team.”

“We are happy. Of course they are going to have chances but we played well and made it tough for them.” he added.

Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo equalised for Real Madrid from the penalty spot just before halftime after Serge Aurier had been adjudged to have fouled Toni Kroos. Spurs had earlier taken the lead through a Raphael Varane OG off a Kane shot.

Both teams will meet again in the reverse leg at the Wembley Stadium on November 1.
