Phenomenal Aguero Moves Five-Star City Sixteen Points Clear

Sergio Aguero produced a sensational second half performance to move five-star Manchester City sixteen points clear at the top of the Premier League table with a 5-1 win over hapless Leicester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday night.

Raheem Sterling gave the league leaders a perfect start as early as the third minute off a Kevin De Bruyne assist before Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy pounced on a rare mistake from Manchester City defender Nicolas Otamendi to level matters for the Foxes.

It ended all square at the interval before the Sergio Aguero show began in the second half.

He scored City’s second and third goal off a pair of assists from De Bruyne before producing a sublime finish for his hattrick goal.

Sergio Aguero capped off an excellent performance with his fourth via an unstoppable effort just before the final whistle to give Manchester City a dominant 5-1 victory thus moving the Citizens sixteen points clear of nearest challengers.

Aguero has now scored 21 goals in the Premier League this season to fall just behind Harry Kane who scored his 23rd league goal to help his Tottenham Hotspur side beat North London Derby rivals Arsenal 1-0 earlier on Saturday.
