Atalanta are through to the last four of the Coppa Italia after they produced an outstanding second half performance to shock hosts and favourites Napoli 2-1 in their quarterfinal clash.

After a goalless affair in the first half, Belgium right-back Timothy Castagne gave the away side the lead with five second half minutes gone before Alejandro Gomez added a second goal with a solo strike in the last ten minutes.

Substitute Dries Mertens thereafter pulled a goal back to setup a grandstand finish but the UEFA Europa League (UEL) campaigners held on for a major scalp.

They will now meet the winner of the derby meeting between Juventus and Genoa in the semis for a place in the Coppa Italia final.
