Willian insists Eden Hazard is still focused on Chelsea amid growing transfer interest from Real Madrid.
Hazard has long made his admiration for Real Madrid known as he’s been continually linked with a move to the Bernabéu.
And the chances of the Chelsea star making the move to Madrid have significantly increased following Zinedine Zidane’s reappointment as Real Madrid manager.
Hazard has in the past described Zidane as his “idol” and has not hidden his wishes to oneday play under the iconic Frenchman.
Yet, Hazard’s Chelsea team mate Willian says the 28-year old is totally focused on his duties as a Chelsea player and is fully committed to the club.
He said: “No doubt, he’s focused here.
“He’s never said something about Real Madrid or stuff like this.
“He just wants to continue to play for Chelsea.
“First of all, I hope he stays with us. But in football you never know what can happen.
“Of course, Eden is a fantastic player, one of the best players in the world. He’s my friend, one of the best players I’ve played with in my whole career.
“I just have to say I hope he stays with us. That’s it. ”
