Chelsea new signing, Alvaro Morata, has taken a tour of Stamford Bridge for the first time since his £70m move from Real Madrid.

The 24-year-old striker, who immediately joined up with his Chelsea team mates on their pre-season tour of Asia after signing, visited his new home ground for the first time on Monday alongside his wife.

The Spaniard posted pictures of the visit on his Instagram page, with the caption: “Couldn’t wait to meet you…”

Morata will make his first competitive appearance for Chelsea on Sunday, August 6, at Wembley in the Community Shield.

However, the former Real Madrid striker will make his Stamford Bridge debut on the opening weekend of the Premier League with the visit of Burnley.
