Juventus legend Claudio Marchisio has revealed that he rejected Real Madrid juicy offer in order to remain with the Old Lady in Serie B.

Recall that Marchisio chose to stay with Juve in Serie B after they were relegated for the Calciopoli scandal over making a move to Real.

He recalled to AS: “I was very young.

“There was this possibility with Mr. Capello, I was in Serie B with Juve and I had just arrived at the first team, the one I loved.

“Honestly, it didn’t seem fair to start my career by leaving the club where I grew up and of which I was always a fan.”
