VIDEO: Esperance Unveil Anayo Iwuala

Anayo Iwuala has been unveiled by four-time African champions Esperance Sportive de Tunis after completing his move from Enyimba for a fee believed to be around $500,000.

Busybuddiesng.com had revealed exclusively that 22-year-old winger travelled to Tunisia last week to put finishing touches to the transfer and the player has now put pen to paper on a three-year deal.

The Tunisian side confirmed the move on their Twitter handle on Monday with a welcome message for the winger and a video montage of his medicals and contract signing.

The move ends speculation about the future of the winger who became much sought after following a breakout season with eight-time Nigerian champions Enyimba where he scored six goals and created 16 more in all competitions for the Aba Elephants.

Iwuala also became a regular for Nigeria Super Eagles last season, earning five caps and featuring in the qualifiers as the three-time African champions sealed a place at next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

Admired for his pace, drive, vision and dribbling ability, Iwuala would be expected to bolster the forward line of record 31-time Tunisian champions Esperance in the upcoming season and lead their charge to regain the Champions League crown.
