Ligue 1 Review: PSG Edge Marseille In Le Classique To Go 14 Points Clear

Paris Saint Germain (PSG) have stretched their lead at the top of the table to 14 points following the dominant victory they recorded in the Le Classique against Olympique Marseille in a Matchday 27 league clash at the Parc Des Princes.

Kylian Mbappe, Rolando (own goal) and Edinson Cavani were all on the scoresheet to give the hosts a 3-0 win.

The victory was, however, marred by the ankle injury sustained by star forward Neymar though he’s expected to return to action next week if everything goes according to plan.

PSG (71 points) have now extended their lead to 14 points ahead of nearest challengers and defending champions AS Monaco (57 points) while Marseille stay in 3rd spot with 55 points.
