Serie A Review: Milan Edge Roma In Mammoth Clash As Lazio Secure Top Three Spot With Sassuolo Win

AC Milan were very impressive as they swept aside AS Roma in a huge Italian Serie A clash to close in on the leading pack.

Patrick Cutrone and Daniel Calabria scored in the second half to give the 7-time European champions a 2-0 win at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday night thus making it five successive wins.

Lazio had earlier strengthened their grip on a top four place with a 3-0 win at Sassuolo courtesy goals from Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Ciro Immobile despite the fact that both teams finished the game with 10 men.

Domenico Berardi and Adam Marusic were sent off for Sassuolo and Lazio respectively.
