Juventus have secured an impressive seventh successive Italian Serie A title despite playing a goalless draw against 10-man AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico, Rome in their Matchday 37 clash on Sunday evening.
The Old Lady needed just a point before the game and they deservedly recorded the crucial point against a Roma side that finished the game with 10 men following Belgian midfielder Radja Naingollan’s dismissal for two yellow cards.
Second-placed Napoli pushed all the way but it was not enough despite beating their hosts Sampdoria 2-0 through goals from Arkadiusz Milik and Raul Albiol.
The win narrows Juventus lead to four points with just one league game each remaining for all the Serie A teams meaning that the Old Lady has sealed a 7th consecutive league title and an overall 34 league titles.
