Isaac Success Ends Goal Drought In Carabao Cup

Nigerian striker Isaac Success has ended his goal drought after he was on target for Premier League side Watford in their Carabao Cup second round clash at Reading on Wednesday night.

The 22-year-old scored his first goal in 20 months to give the Hornets a 36th minute lead before Portuguese winger Domingos Quina added a second strike on 62 minutes to wrap up the 2-0 win at the home of the Championship side.

Former junior international Issac Success joined Watford in a then club-record transfer from Spanish outfit Granada and has suffered various injuries for the most part of his stay at Vicarage Road.

His transfer was said to be worth around £12.5m.

Isaac Success made his one and only appearance for the Super Eagles against the Teranga Lions of Senegal in an international friendly in March 2017.
