Nigeria’s U-21 team lost their classification match against Japan 26-16 on Wednesday at the 2019 World Junior Men’s Handball Championship in Spain.

The Junior National handball male team were no match with their Japanese opponents and were roundly defeated.

Captain of the team Danlami Abdullahi was voted the Most Valuable Player For Nigeria.

Nigeria will look for their first win in the tournament when they play Bahrain on Thursday.
