Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro is full of excitement following the warm reception accorded the team by Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Peseiro and his players were received by Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock on Tuesday.

The Super Eagles came second at the recently concluded 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The three-time champions lost 2-1 to hosts Cote d’Ivoire in the final of the competition.

The players and their officials were awarded with national honours, plots of land as well as flats in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) during the reception.

Peseiro took to the social media to show his appreciation to the president.
