Eagles Camp Latest: Number Rises To 22

Tuesday arrivals took the number of Super Eagles players in camp to 22 as the team steps up preparation ahead of Friday’s international friendly clash with Poland.

Six players namely Alex Iwobi, William Troost-Ekong, Ola Aina, Brian Idowu, Leon Balogun and Brian Idowu were the early arrivals on Monday before others joined.

The Wroclaw camp of the Super Eagles came alive on Tuesday when other invited players like goalkeeper Francis Uzoho; defenders Kenneth Omeruo, Elderson Echiejile, Stephen Eze, Abdullahi Shehu and Chidozie Awaziem; midfielders Joel Obi, John Ogu, Ogenyi Onazi, Uche Agbo and Wilfred Ndidi, and forwards Ahmed Musa, Moses Simon, Odion Ighalo, Kelechi Iheanacho and Victor Moses joined.

Players like goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi, team captain John Mikel Obi and Junior Ajayi are yet to hit camp.

The team had two training sessions on Tuesday and they are expected to undertake the same schedule on Wednesday.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will take on Poland at the Municipal Stadium in Wroclaw on Friday night before battling Serbia in another international friendly game on Tuesday.
