Super Eagles skipper John Mikel Obi will miss the team’s international friendly game with Poland at the Municipal Stadium in Wroclaw on Friday.
Apart from the Tianjin Teda of China midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo and Junior Ajayi will also miss the match.
According to the team administrator Dayo Enebi, John Mikel Obi is yet to renew his work permit in China thus making him unavailable for selection.
In his words via thenff.com, Enebi said: “We all had been hoping that the renewal would come in good time for him to fly to Poland. As it is now, it is not likely that he would make the trip.”
Las Palmas midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo is currently nursing an injury while Al Ahly forward Junior Ajayi will fly directly to London ahead of Tuesday’s friendly game with Serbia due to his inability to secure visa into Poland.
