Dangote Reiterates Arsenal Ownership Desire

Africa’s richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote has again stated his desire to become the owner of Premier League giants Arsenal.

His latest statement about buying the North London outfit came during his interview with Philip Billing of the Financial Times.

When asked about Arsenal, Dangote said: “I love Arsenal and I will definitely go for it.”

He further said that the club should be worth about $2bn and that he would involve himself in rebuilding the team — “chipping in my own advice” — as the owner of the club.

Chief Aliko Dangote also confirmed that he would divert his attention to football once his refinery project has been completed.

He said: “When I buy it, I have to bring it up to the expectations of our supporters.”

“Once I have finished with that headache, I will take on football.” He concluded.
