Lionel Messi scored twice as Barcelona beat Athletic Bilbao 4-0 in the Copa Del Rey final to give Ronald Koeman his first trophy as Barcelona manager.
Messi’s double came after Antoine Griezmann had given Barca the lead and Frankie de Jong added a second with all four strikes coming in the first half.
Bilbao have now suffered consecutive defeats in the Copa Del Rey final in the space of two weeks. They lost to Real Sociedad in the final of the delayed 2020 edition earlier this month.
