Two-time champions Enyimba enjoyed an easy passage to the first round after demolishing debutants Rahimo FC of Burkina Faso 5-1 on aggregate, but Abd’Allah, who masterminded that impressive win is of the view that 2-time beaten finalists Hilal, who needed away goals rule against Rayo Sport of Rwanda to advance, will pose a tougher test for his side in Aba on Sunday.
Nonetheless, the former Kano Pillars assistant coach is confident Enyimba are ready for the challenge.
“They are a very experienced team and they’ve done well in the previous competitions,” the soft-spoken tactician said. So it’s going to be a tough one.
“But we are already aware of the responsibility that we are shouldering. So we are trying to do as much as possible to make sure that we come out with a very good result. We’ve worked hard for that.
“By Sunday, I think we will be equal to the task.”
