Super Falcons star Ashleigh Plumptre bagged a hat-trick to help Al-Ittihad thrash rivals Al Ahly 6-2, in the Saudi Arabia women’s Premier League on Thursday night.
It is Plumptre’s second hat-trick in the league, after first achieving the feat on matchday one in a 3-0 win at Eastern Flames FC in October.
The former Leicester defender doubled Al-Ittihad’s lead in the 29th minute as she slammed home a knock down pass inside the box with her right foot.
In first half added time, Plumptre made it 4-0. She collected a pass in the midfield charged forward and unleashed a long range left-foot volley past the keeper.

She then made it 5-0 still in added time, slotting home from a well taken set piece.
Plumptre has now taken her goals tally in the league to six from six games.
