Wolves Sign Rui Patricio In Huge Transfer Coup

Newly promoted Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers have made a huge transfer coup by signing Portugal international goalkeeper Rui Patricio on a free transfer.

Rui Patricio joins the Midlands club on a four-year deal after he cancelled his contract at Portuguese Super League outfit Sporting Lisbon.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed a goalkeeper regarded as one of the best on the world football stage.

He is presently with the Portugal squad at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Russia.

The Euro 2016 winner was in goal as he helped his Portugal side record an impressive 3-3 draw with former World Cup winners Spain.

The Group B was his 70th cap for the 1966 World Cup semifinalists.

He made 460 appearances for Sporting Lisbon during his time at the club.
