Vinicius Junior was the star of the show as he netted a hat-trick, in Real Madrid’s 4-1 win against 10-man Barcelona in the final of the 2024 Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

Also on target for Madrid was Rodrygo while Robert Lewandowski got Barca’s only goal.

It is a 13th Spanish Super Cup title for Los Merengues and are one short of Barcelona (14).

Also, it is a revenge win for Madrid who lost 3-1 to Barcelona in last season’s final.

Vinicius scored two quick goals in the 7th and 10th minutes to put Madrid 2-0 ahead.

In the 33rd minute Lewandowski reduced the deficit to make it 2-1 but Vinicius scored from the penalty spot on 39 minutes to complete his hat-trick and make it 3-1.
