Nigerian legend Okocha said this during an interview with FIFA media as he highlighted the rarity of the goal.

In his words, the former PSG, Bolton and Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder said: “I think they are all amazing goals but the one I will put forward is the goalkeeper because it was very rare.”

“Not just rare, for a goalkeeper to score a bicycle kick last minute of the game.” he added.

South African goalkeeper Oscarine Musuluke scored an equaliser for his Baroka with an overhead kick against Premier Soccer League (PSL) giants Orlando Pirates in the last minute. He was thereafter rewarded with a Puskas Award nomination following the announcement of the nominees for the upcoming FIFA Football Awards in London on Friday.

Musuluke has been nominated alongside Kevin Prince-Boateng (Ghana), Alejandro Camargo (Argentina), Deyna Castellanos (Venezuela), Moussa Dembele (France), Olivier Giroud (France), Aviles Hurtado (Colombia), Mario Mandzukic (Croatia), Nemanja Matic (Serbia) and Jordi Mboula (Spain).
