RS Berkane won their first CAF Confederation Cup with an edgy 1-0 win over Pyramids FC in the final at the Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay-Abdellah in Rabat, Morocco on Sunday.

Issoufou Dayo’s goal scored in the fifteenth minute proved to be enough to hand the Moroccan side their first continental trophy.

The win over first time finalists Pyramids was a sweet return to the final for RS Berkane after the disappointment of losing on penalties to another Egyptian side Zamalek SC last season.

The 2019-20 Confederation Cup finally comes to an end following an extension to the competition owing to the coronavirus pandemic.
