English Championship side Stoke City have signed Super Eagles forward from Portuguese side Feirense in a €7.2m (£6.35m) deal.
Etebo, 22, has signed a five-year deal for the Potters to become the first signing since Gary Rowett left Derby County to take charge at the Britannia Stadium in May.
On his new acquisition, Rowett said: “We’re really excited to have got the deal over the line for Etebo.”
“I’m looking forward to seeing him in a Stoke City shirt as I’m sure our supporters are too.” He added.
Oghenekaro Etebo had spent the second half of last season at relegated Spanish La Liga side Las Palmas.H
He is currently with the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of the start of this summer’s FIFA World Cup scheduled for Thursday.
