Former Bayern Munich and Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has welcomed his first baby with wife Ana Ivanovic.

The German World Cup winner confirmed the birth of his son Luka earlier on Monday via his official Twitter handle.

His tweeted read as follows: “Welcome to the world our little boy!?? We are so happy.❤@AnaIvanovic”

Bastian Schweinsteiger and his retired Tennis star wife, Ana Ivanovic began a relationship in September 2014 before tying the knot in May 12, 2016.

The couple announced that they were expecting a child on November 23, 2017.

Luka was born in Chicago on Saturday, March 17.
