Salah Bags Premier League Player Award For February

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has won the Premier League Player of the Month Award for February.

Salah, 25, scored four league goals and contributed two assists in February to lead his Liverpool side to a top three place on the league table.

Mohamed Salah is presently the joint leading scorer in the Premier League with 24 goals alongside Harry Kane.

He saw off Sergio Aguero (Manchester City), Moussa Dembele (Tottenham Hotspur), Eden Hazard (Chelsea), Glenn Murray and Pascal Gross (Brighton and Hove Albion) and Xerdan Shaqiri to win the award for a second time.

After winning the award, Salah said: “The players make it easier and the boss also makes it easier for me.”

“It’s nice to win it again especially because it’s the Player of the Month of the Premier League, so that’s something good.

“I say always try to help reach the three points and to be in a better position.” he concluded.

The Egyptian received the most combined votes from a panel of experts, Premier League captains and fans to claim the award.
