Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has moved to tackle the team’s goalkeeping problem ahead of this summer’s FIFA World Cup in Russia.
The Franco-German tactician has sent one of Eagles’ goalkeeper trainers, Pionetti Enrico, in a bid for him to work with highly rated shot-stopper Francis Uzoho in Spain.
The goalkeeping department represents a problematic area and the former Gabon coach has moved to solve the situation.
Uzoho, who plays for struggling Spanish La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna, impressed as a substitute during last year’s international friendly win over 2-time world champions and he has been linked with the no.1 jersey at the World Cup.
