Barcelona have announced that they have reached an agreement with National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) Bay FC for the transfer of Asisat Oshoala, whose contract ended on June 30, 2024.

Barcelona confirmed Oshoala’s departure in a statement on Thursday.

Oshoala scored 117 goals in 162 games for the Spanish women’s team.

Her goals means she is the fourth highest scorer in the history of Barcelona’s women’s side.

She arrived during the winter window in January 2019 and in the middle of the season played a total of 11 games and scored eight goals.

In her first full season, 2019/20, she scored 30 goals in 32 games.
