Adamawa United and Akwa Starlets will contest the final of the 2018/2019 Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 4 tournament currently ongoing at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu after they both triumphed via penalty shootouts over Jigawa Golden Stars and Warri Wolves respectively on Friday.

Adamawa United beat Jigawa Golden Stars 8-7 on penalties in the day’s first match after regulation time ended 1-1 courtesy of goals from Paul Chinedu for United and Ibrahim Mujahid for Golden Stars.

The second match involving Akwa Starlets and Warri Wolves also ended in a draw albeit a barren one with Starlets going on to win 3-1 on penalties after their goalkeeper saved three of Warri Wolves spot-kicks.

The final of the season-ending tournament comes up on Sunday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu with the winners crowned 2018/2019 NNL Champions.
